Fall Focused

8.5 weeks.  That's crazy.  8.5 weeks until we meet little girl #2.  Excited/terrified/anxious/terrified!  Winslow must ask once a day when she gets to meet her "baby sister".  Soon my child, soon.

With this quickly growing belly, I'm dying a little bit inside, not being able to shop for any fun new Fall clothing.  So, I'm zoned in on outerwear, boots and handbags.  100% focused.  Loving these...

Easy Does It.

I love that there's an affordable version of the d'Orsay by Jenni Kayne, that I had been eyeing forever.  I love them so much, that I may or may not have them in three colors :)  The Chinese Laundry "Easy Does It" flats are a steal at $59 over the $450 splurge.  Other styles here. How great are the metallic gold?!  It's a problem.

I live in these perfect little flats.  A great transition from Summer to Fall. Add them to your wardrobe ASAP!

Tortoise "Winslow" Nameplate

I've been eyeing these forever...

But because my last name is a bit tricky with the little "de" space big "W", I can't make it work. Luckily, I love ANYTHING with Boo's name on it.  And here you have it... Tortoise "Winslow" nameplate.

Love.  Never taking it off.  Find it at BaubleBar!

A little bit random.

This should explain how my mind functions these days... all over the place and totally random!

I can't stop staring at these Rebecca Minkoff sandals.  The light grey blue leather with the thick wood heel and gold detail... just gorg.  Do I go for it?!  It's almost my birthday, just saying.

Music on repeat right now... talk about random!

Emeli Sande - Maybe
ZZ Ward - Blue Eyes Blind
Imagine Dragons - Radioactive
Randy Houser - Runnin' Outta Moonlight
Fall Out Boy - My Songs Know What You Did in the Dark
Taylor Swift & Ed Sheeran - Everything Has Changed
Blake Shelton & Pistol Annies - Boys 'Round Here

In a bit more exciting news, for me at least, Worboys Design is finally getting its own office space.  So we've placed orders for some fun furnishings.  It should look something like this...

So excited, I can barely handle it.

Layering Statement Necklaces.

I love how much bigger and blingy-er :) the necklaces are becoming.  A fun way to achieve this mass of amazingness, is to wear a couple of them together.  The more random, the better!

Find these here & here (older style, similar here)

My favs...

Is anyone else loving BaubleBar's collection lately?  Find really affordable, fun pieces here!  I may or may not have placed a teeny tiny order today :)

And that's all I have for you.  Happy Friday!!

L'amour de ma vie!

Rachel from Pink Peonies does is right.  She's super girly with a subtle touch of edge, whether it's a collection of spiky bracelets or camo skinnies.  This bold blocky print under the fitted leather jacket is one of my favs...

I've spent hours, maybe not hours, but many minutes trying to track down this sweatshirt, with no luck.  So I decided to make one myself...

I'm loving it under sweaters, alone with skinny printed jeans, with a floral printed scarf... I'm obsessed.  It was designed on UberPrints and showed up on my doorstep in 4 days.  The fabric isn't super duper high quality but the print is soft and for $30, I'll take it!

Look at me - a clothing designer.  Hardly.  But it was fun to recreate (with a slight change in text) and add a little something special to the bottom :)  I'm happy to order more for those of you who are digging this - just let me know.  I have a feeling I'm going to be playing around quite a bit on this site!

Favorite Things.

A few my favorite things right now...

Faux flowers.

I love having flowers around the house.  But after the 5 days of perfection, they sit there, as a mess with pollen everywhere waiting to be cleaned up.  The cost of nice, high quality faux flowers is appalling.  So instead of $200+ (no joke!) on a vase of hydrangeas, I made my own.  Faux water and all.  Vase, flowers and craft water, were approx. $40 from Hobby Lobby.  Not all faux flowers are the same, so spend a little bit extra to get close to the real thing!

Magenta Lipstick.

Terrible, grainy picture, sorry!  I've never mastered the art of applying makeup to my eyes so I think it's really fun to go with an unexpected pop of color on your lips!  Also great when you have 5 minutes to change, do you hair/makeup and run out the door to dinner - my life these days.  I love, love, love this color for Spring - Makeup Forever in Satin Fushia. I've been wearing it with everything.

Leopard Heels.

I can't get enough of these heels!  I ordered them through Piperlime and they've sat in my closet for almost a year, waiting for the perfect outfit to wear them with.  I threw them on with a pretty basic, printless outfit I was wearing a couple months ago and now they're my "go-to".  I wear them with everything and anything.  They're especially fun when paired with a bold top or fun pattern.

What are your favs these days?!

stella & dot arrived!

I'm completely swooning over this bracelet and ring from stella & dot that just arrived in the mail...

I'm a sucker for great packaging and they do a GREAT job.  I almost don't want to throw these boxes away.  Is that weird?!

Sequins & Glitter for the Holidays!

It's officially holiday party season!  Is there anything better than dressing up with a little extra flare than normal to celebrate the holidays?!  My "go to" has been red lipstick, glittery/dark nails and my new favorite heels...

Shoes | Zara (no longer available online)
Nails | OPI Lincoln Park After Dark and Only Gold For Me
Lips | Sephora Rouge #R03

Let's be honest... you can't ever really go wrong with anything shiny and sparkly mixed with other fun textures.  How amazing is this gold sequin peplum top paired with a pair of navy velvet skinnies and an extra fab statement necklace?

I can't even begin to talk about these.  Emerald suede and silver glitter?!  Ugh, just love.

Dress Up.

One of the few good things that have come from my week and a half of computer hell...  I have been working from the Cardinal Group offices and get to play dress up!

Button Down | Madwell (here)
Top | Banana Republic (old - similar here)
Pants | Gap (here)
Booties | Banana Republic (old - similar here)
Necklace | Loft (not shown online - similar here)
Watch | Michael Kors (old - similar here)

Please ignore the mess in the background. I'm standing in the sitting room off our master bedroom that will soon be turned into my first ever, walk in closet. (Ahhhhhhh, so stinkin excited!)  The quality of this photo is embarrassing.  So I recreated it for you...

I've worked from home for the past 4 years, so my work attire has diminished.  I've had to get pretty creative with what I'm working with, which I love.  And what a treat to actually get out of my PJs before 5pm!

Gold Spikes.

A friend talked me into hosting a Trunk Show for Stella & Dot.  I had heard the name everywhere, being worn by celebs, but hadn't ever looked through a catalog or visited their website and... LOVE!  So many fun and affordable pieces.

I've been picking out my wish list items and posting them on my FB event page, but thought this one was blog worthy.  I love this Renegade Cluster Bracelet ($59!) paired with more conservative pieces.  Most looked a bit too hard core for me, but these sweet little gold spikes are perfect.

And one of my favorite bloggers from The Pink Peonies, has been sporting this sweet lil guy with everything...

See, spikes aren't so scary!  What is scary... the next 4 years :)

Come join us through the end of the month here.  And now, back to my 2 day long process of backing up my broken computer and setting up my new one.  Still smiling of course :)

Outfit Love.

I first took a screen shot of this pic posted by Nordstrom because I was diggin her haircut.  Then I quickly noticed how fabulous the beaded tank was under the chunky nordic sweater.  It's a bit unexpected mixing the prints and textures, but I love it!

I hope everyone had a great Halloween! The kiddies costumes being posted today are just too much.  Winslow kept her Busy Bee getup on for a full hour.  We were so proud :)

F21 Finds.

It's always rewarding to walk out of Forever21 with some items you're excited about.  Usually a totally overwhelming experience that you have to have your head right for. It takes some serious patience to look through the racks and racks of mostly questionable clothing for girls half my age and size :)  BUT, last week, I found these pieces and I'm pumped...

Geometric mini skirt, faux leather panel pencil skirt, cropped sweater (which I've already worn a ton with a chambray button down and super long flowy blouses) and a glittery polka dot bag that I will find a need for eventually... all under $60.  Go me!

Peplum Tie Back Dress

This dress is so sweet with it's classic silhouette and simple details.  Love.  And the back is so, so fun with the soft champagne bow.  Sadly, I can't comfortably wear anything backless or strapless, so I will have to live vicariously through one of you.  Someone needs to buy it and send pics!

$69 on Piperlime (plus 20% off today and tomorrow.  Code: ME)  That's $55, people!  Who cares if it's made from polyester, it's so dang cute.
