Congrats to the Quimby's!

Just a few pictures from last night's GORGEOUS, STUNNING, AMAZING wedding at the San Diego Museum of Art...

It was such a special, intimate ceremony, followed by a garden cocktail hour with art sculptures scattered throughout, and an elegant reception to finish off an incredible evening.

So, so, so excited for the newlyweds! Enjoy Antigua! We love you :)

And a big WELL DONE to Michele from Before I Do Events... nailed it again!

Sitting and waiting and dreaming of Tahoe...

As we sit here at SFO, waiting out our 4 hour delay to San Diego (wonderful!), I can't help but think about all of the snow dumping on Tahoe, as we speak.

Tahoe, we miss you and will see you soon.

But first, we watch two great friends exchange their vows (!!!), then the de Windts and the Woodcocks are off to Thailand!

We'll be missing and thinking of you all on the 25th from Chiang Mai. HAPPIEST & MERRIEST CHRISTMAS TO EVERYONE! See you in 2011 :)

A Sonoma Shunpike...

The de Windt travel schedule was a bit crazy these past few weeks, BUT we were lucky enough to get to spend time with my brother and sister in Rochester and then again in San Francisco in the same week! What was supposed to be a beautiful weekend, ended up in fog (of course!), so we drove 45 minutes north to Sonoma, for a day of shunpiking!

We said our goodbyes to Missi (or at least I did!) and explored the quaint little town of Sonoma...

We settled on a sweet little country French spot called, The Girl and The Fig for dinner. I highly recommend...

Our Christmas decorations went up last night and looking through this makes me wish for an unlimited decorating budget :)

This trip was way too quick, but we fit in a lot and left in good holiday spirits!

It's sad not having our next trip home booked. Maybe March?! For now, we're sloooowly making our way back to SF, (delayed in Chicago and not happy about it!) for a FULL 8 DAYS AT HOME! ;)

I've been waiting to give this post the focus and love it deserves, so here it is!

On November 21st, my sister married her a special Aussie...

The rain stopped just in time to hike down to the rocks along La Jolla shores, in San Diego.

It was a small, private ceremony with the most stunning backdrop you could imagine, for a STUNNING couple.

And then we celebrate...

When you're missing some very special people... SKYPE!

Did I mention, this evening was just perfect?!

Little did the couple know, Michele, of Before I Do Events was busy at work back at the villa...

(These pictures don't even come close to doing it justice. We were all blown away. Michele, you are so stinking talented!)

And surprise!

I will never forget this day. It's the kind of spontaneous romance from the movies. You've had a whirlwind couple of years and I know you will have an adventurous, whirlwind of a life together. We will always be here to love and support you both. Cheers mate!
