Friendship Bracelets.

I was so, so sad when I sat down with my lunch today, to watch the premier of Project Runway from last night and I had FORGOTTEN TO RECORD IT! (I blame it on the our fantastic dinner guests - wondering... is it normal to invite guest for dinner and make them cook?!) So, I'm anxiously awaiting the rerun tomorrow morning to get caught up.

Project Runway - Season 9

That's right, the highlight of my year - Project Runway Season 9 begins tonight! You have no idea how happy that makes me :) I don't watch a ton of TV but this is an absolute MUST.

After looking through portfolios for the 20 contestants, I have to say, this season is going to be quite interesting...

I'm loving Anthony Ryan Auld's past work, which actually looks wearable...

Chalkboard China.

"Chalkboard" and "china"... two words that don't necessarily go together. But, how sweet are these chargers from Chalkboard China?!

Ahhhh, it's Friday!

The sun is out, I survived all the needles from my doctor's appt. this morning (baby is healthy and growing like a champ!) and my client's beautiful wedding invitations are packaged and ready to be shipped out...

VEGAS STYLE.

A good friend asked me to design an fabulous invitation to celebrate her fabulous sister... VEGAS STYLE! I loved playing with the black and hot pink (because, really, what could be more perfect for a bachelorette party in Sin City?!) and added a pretty lil chandelier for even more Vegas fabulousness!

Santa Cruz for the afternoon.

Hubby and I spent this past weekend in Monterey to celebrate the wedding of two very dear friends. It was an event-filled weekend with a beautiful, emotional, perfect ceremony and reception to top it off.

Because all I brought was my daddy-of-a-camera, it didn't get broken out till the end of the weekend, during our afternoon in Santa Cruz. So... sorry, no wedding pics, but I assure you the bride, groom and scenery at Monterey Peninsula Country Club were STUNNING!

Such a cool town. But more importantly, a HUGE congrats to the newly married Mr. & Mrs. Alex O'Brien! Hope you're enjoying Bora Bora (brats!). We love you!

Craigslist Find!

I love a good Craigslist find and this pair of mirrors were just that. I wasn't sure what $15 each would get me and when I showed up to find these...

...covered in dust and kids stickers, I had to use my imagination. Luckily, some Goo Gone, a bottle of spray primer and this pretty blue/grey spray paint (impeccably applied by my hubby) did the trick!

These are currently being used in different rooms, but I imagine them placed together in a larger living room space. Is there anything more rewarding than Craigslist!

Back to work in my temporary office overlooking Monterey Bay :) So excited for the Taylor/O'Brien wedding festivities to begin. It's going to be a beautiful one!

A special surfer dude is turning one!

My nephew is turning one! Ok, so he's not "technically" my nephew, but he's so darn cute (I can barely handle it), I like to pretend sometimes. He's actually the son of my bestie, Megan, who had the amazing idea to do little surfboard invitations for the lil surfer dude's birthday bash. I was pumped to be able to bring these to life.
