The weeks and weeks that I had to wait to give this birthday gift to my hubby were brutal. So I was like a giddy little kid when I finally got to see him open it...
The wall in our living room needed something special... something a touch edgy to contrast with the traditional feel that we have going on. So I decided to surprise him with a custom piece that highlighted our wedding day with the amazing photos by Melissa Vossler that we had yet to print in a substantial size - 3+ years later!
I owe all the credit to Miss Jordan, my incredibly talented designer who brought this piece to life. She worked in photos of the houses we've lived in, our ceremony on the dock, the vows we had written and read to each other on our wedding day, the birth date of our baby girl, the mountains from our years in Tahoe and trip to Patagonia, San Diego's Mt. Soledad cross, the cliffs along the beach where he proposed and lots of other elements that make up our almost 10 YEARS TOGETHER!
I was nervous printing this 36x48 print without his input, but that wouldn't have been any fun and since Worboys Design had created a couple murals similar to this for various project that he's raved about, I went for it. And luckily, it passed.
It's such a special piece and I can't think of a better reason to put this together. Love you hubby and thank you for all of the memories that we get to walk by everyday :)
